**July 14 - NOTE FROM SYLVIA:

Hi all....  =)  Just a brief note to keep everyone updated on the latest plans/developments
here.
As I mentioned in my last e-mail, I need to have that spot/nodule in my lung removed and it
is now confirmed that that surgery will happen on Monday, 7/16, and will be a standard
surgery (not laproscopic) because the surgeon wants to physically go and and make sure
he doesn't see any other other possible tumors that may have been too small to register
on the PET scan.  He will go in on the right side of my ribcage.
I should be in the hospital for three to five days, depending on recovery. Ken will be here
during that time, too, which is why we planned it for those days.
I also had my first "planning" appointment with the radiologist's office to make the mask
that I will have to wear during radiation therapy. I will have a follow up appointment after it's
been made (to have it fitted) on Tuesday while I'm already at the hospital after the
surgery.  I think the date of when the actual radiation treatments will begin will be
determined then, too.
The plans for moving are coming along and August 5 is the current date that we need to
be out of the Whitsett house. Like everything else has been, though, I'm sure it's subject
to change.  =)
Sorry this is so brief and to the point. I just wanted to make sure that everyone is kept in
the loop as to what's planned.
Hope everyone is well and happy.  Ken and I send our love to all.
=) Love, Sylvia

missing hikers and campers in the Arizona mountains and deserts.  These volunteers give
up their vacation time from their jobs in order to perform this task!

**April 12, 2007 - The Doo-Wah Riders just get in under the rain. Despite mother nature
trying to blow the guys off the stage they were able to put on a great show. Only a couple
hats were lost and the rains waited to start until the equipment was loaded on the bus.
They were the last act able to perform on the Graham Central Station stages due to high
winds, heavy rains and lightening.
